The last month has been comprised of doing art that challenges me, and kids playing on an ocean of lava is just one more example of that.

I always used to love pretending that the floor was lava, and find ways to get from the couch to the ottoman to the kitchen floor without burning myself and this captures that game quite nicely I think. Hope you enjoy!

Oh my gosh, metal sharks XD. We never had metal sharks, but we did have lava monsters. If one of us fell in, we became a lava monster and tried to drag the other survivors down. It was amazing.

This brings back so many memories, it's a perfect depiction of childhood imagination.

I didn't get a degree. I drew a lot of comics though... Lots of comic people work at Catoon Network.
